The Movement Phase
Every action matters. The board state shifts entirely with a single swipe, requiring precise foresight and spatial awareness.
The Slide
Swiping up, down, left, or right forces all tiles to slide as far as possible in that direction. The board compresses, setting up adjacent numbers for potential combinations.
The Merge
When two tiles of the same numerical value collide during a slide, they merge into a single tile with double the value. This creates a satisfying cascade effect if planned correctly.
Advanced Strategy
Progressing to high values requires more than random swiping. Mastering spatial patterns separates casual players from tacticians.
Corner Anchoring
The most reliable tactic. Keep your highest value tile wedged tightly into a single corner. Build subsequent smaller values in descending order directly adjacent to it, creating a structured snake of tiles that funnel into your anchor.
Grid Lock Avoidance
A scattered board means fewer merging opportunities. Always prioritize maintaining open tiles to ensure new spawns do not prematurely end your run.
The Cascade Engine
Set up rows where multiple merges can happen in a single swipe. This not only clears space rapidly but multiplies your combo scoring potential.
Understanding the Score
Your final score is not merely the sum of the tiles on the board. Our algorithm rewards efficiency, planning, and high-value generation.
Base Merge Value
Every time two tiles combine, you earn points equal to the newly created tile. Merging two 16s into a 32 grants 32 points immediately.
Combo Multiplier
Executing sequential merges without breaking the chain activates a multiplier. Deep cascades can exponentially increase a single move's value.
